Before we try to sell you on all of the amazing things that goes on at
the King's Café for youth, we would
like to sell you on all the things that won’t be happening.
There are no XBOX 360s or PlayStations. We don’t have some young and
relevant communicator who understands this generation. You probably won’t find a sexy
boy band leading worship with the token female on keys, although a fog
machine would be cool. We do have the King's Cafe were we usually have coffee and refreshments, opportunity for radical worship, an open mic, dialog and discussion, and Christian fellowship.
If you are still reading, here is what you will find:
You will see Students on a Mission to reach our city for Jesus. We have
found it is often more fun to do this outside since most of Jacksonville is
outside our church walls. We have teens just like you, coming from
around the corner or driving all the way from the burbs like Manderin, Orange Park or Riverside. These students experience highs and lows in life
just like any other teen. Some have got their Jesus on and are starting
to figure things out. Some don’t. We can promise you this… You will get
your hands dirty and have fun doing it as Jesus makes an impact on your
life while using you to impact someone else’s.
And the best
part… we have the coolest adults who want to help you along this
amazing spiritual journey. So, if you wanna go to Wal-Mart, that’s
fine. But if you’re tired of the show and just wanna have your face
melted off, come hang with us.
In addition to opportunity to minister to our city, because of the King's Church active partnership with Apostolic Ministries and Churches International and the Communion of Apostolic Churches you will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in Kingdom adventures and global missions around the world.
