To The Saints And Friends Of The King's Church, Pastor Sandra, the Pastoral Team and I want to wish each one of you a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
Of course, Christmas is the special time of the year in which we celebrate Christ's First Advent, His coming into history to bless us and establish His saving rule in our lives and spheres of influence. Nevertheless, Christmas can be a very difficult time for many people because of the loss of loved ones, loneliness or the hardships of life. But for those of us who know the Christ of Christmas, it is a blessed time of experiencing God's love and His goodness, and of looking forward to all He that He will yet do to fulfill His calling and destiny in our lives.
We had a wonderful Christmas dance last Saturday night and a great Christmas service Sunday. But for you were out of town for the holidays or who have been sick, we want you to know that your church family has missed you very much, and you are in our hearts and prayers especially at Christmas.
Also, Pastor Sandra and I want to thank the members of the King's Church for remembering us with your special Christmas gift this last Sunday. We are very, very grateful for your love and encouragement at this time of the year!
We also look forward to seeing each of you this coming Sunday, as we continue to remember the true meaning of Christmas and as we celebrate Christ's Advent and His coming into our lives to bless and strengthen us throughout the coming New Year.
Merry Christmas to each one of you!
Pastor Sandra, the King's Church Pastoral Team, and Bishop
