Join The King's Church Sunday Evening July 5th To Celebrate America's Independence Day

Sun, July 5, 2009 5:00 PM

Saints:

Mark your calendar and don't miss our Fourth of July Picnic (Sunday evening the 5th July) as our church family celebrates our nation's most popular holiday! (Fish, play tennis, horse shoes, volley ball, chess, or just hang out!)

Time:  Sunday Evening July 5th at 5 P.M.

Place: Marie Howard's home at l0349 Sandler Rd., Jacksonville.  This is in the North Orange Park area.

Activities: From 5 P.M. to dinner, each individual or family can decide what you want to do.  Marie has a fishing pond stocked with fish (mostly bass).  She has a tennis court, horseshoes (sorry, no horse) to compete in horseshoe toss.  There is a trampoline (for the daring) and a lot of room to wander and to relax under tall beautiful trees.  Sister Marie's home is large, inviting and pleasant to be in.  She has enough room and tables to accommodate all of us.

Supplies: It is very important that you bring your own supplies for entertainment and activities (Fishing gear and bait, tennis balls and rackets, etc.).

Food: King's church will furnish the meat (chicken breast for Hawaiian chicken) and a few hot dogs for the kids and anyone else who wants one.  The church will also furnish all of the paper goods needed for the day.

Side Dishes: We are asking each family to bring at least one side dish.  PLEASE let Kathy know this Sunday or next week what you are thinking to bring as she wants to coordinate the food in order for the menu to be well rounded (salads, bread, drinks, vegetables and desserts).

Attendance: Also, we will be planning on each one of you being there, unless we hear from you otherwise, this will prevent us from buying too much food, but being sure of having enough.

Cooks: David Kowalski will be coordinating with the men charcoal grills, a cook, clean up crews etc.

We look forward to a great evening together!
