 In these difficult economic times, the Christian must remember our heavenly citizenship. As ambassadors of the Kingdom of God, it is the heavenly economy that controls how we ought to live our lives. How are we to understand Jesus' teaching in Matthew 6 & 7 as it relates to the treasury of heaven and his instruction to seek first the Kingdom of God on this earth? We will explore a familiar passage with an attempt to obtain a deeper understanding of the practical and purposeful meaning of the resources and treasures of heaven throughout scripture.
