At the King's Church you’ll hear relevant Christian music played and
sung with passion and learn about true apostolic Christianity, the Christianity of Christ and His apostles, presented every week in a
new, compelling, and practical way.
You will be encouraged or maybe even challenged, but that’s okay.
Come early for free coffee and snacks served in the King's cafe from 9:30 to 10:15 every Sunday Morning
Expect God. We can’t change lives but
Jesus can. We expect the presence of God in all of our meetings! Where
God is, there is joy, healing, life, and hope . We come together to meet with and worship the Creator and King of the universe and to be changed by Him.
Expect Honesty. You don’t have the time
to go to a fake religious ceremony, neither do we. Every sermon is
real, honest, and frankly a little bit raw. All teaching at the King's Church is from the Holy Scriptures with application to real life. We all need God's truth not gimmicks and hype.
Expect Love. Suburban, urban, black,
white, rich, and poor, young and old, are all a part of the King's
Church. It does not require the power of the Holy Spirit to love people
who are just like we are. At the King's Church you will be loved no matter what. You can be yourself at the King's Church.
What to wear. Come as you are. Let your
tattoos show or wear a suit and tie. Haven’t shaved in a few months or
clean cut? You’ll still find friends at the King's Church. Authenticity is
important to us. God loves you as you are and we do too!
All our Lord's Day gatherings are a little different each week. You can
expect sound Biblical teaching, one of our worship bands to lead in joyful
celebration of the King, Kingdom prayers prayed for the governments and nations of the world and for each other, the
celebration of the Eucharist, and powerful personal ministry for anyone who desires it. Throughout the week you will also find plenty of opportunity to develop real Christian friendships, learn the ways of Christ's Kingdom, and how to use the mighty spiritual weapons God has given each one of us to plunder Satan's Kingdom.
The King's Church is a congregation of Apostolic Ministries International and the Communion of Apostolic Churches. Through our interaction with other ministries and churches you will also have ample opportunity to get involved in citywide, regional, national, and international missions. (For detailed information about AMCI and the CAC visit www.cacvirtual.org .) Through the King's Academy and because of our close affiliation with the Apostles Theological Seminary you will have plenty of opportunities for Christian discipleship, Bible Study, and ministry training from just beginning the Christian life all the way to full-time ministry. (For more information about ATS see www.atsvirtual.org .)
What to do with the kids
We have nursery care for infant through kindergarten and we have
The King's kids for 1st through 6th graders at our 10:15 Sunday morning
service.
We are happy to have the privilege of caring for your children on
Sundays! Children are a gift from the Lord and it’s our desire to bless
them while they are in our care. Although we don’t consider their time
with us to be their primary spiritual education, we are aware that we
have a unique opportunity to shape their attitude toward church and to
strengthen the spiritual foundation being laid by parents. We want them to have fun, learn about the Jesus, and have a positive experience every time they visit!
Our Nursery is a fun-filled and entertaining place for children from birth through kindergarten to learn about the love of Jesus.
The King's Kids (for children in 1st through 6th grades) uses
art, games, lessons, and activities to acquaint kids with key people in
the Bible, instill character values, and apply Christian principles to
kids’ lives.
