The Apostles Theological Seminary Moves Away From a "No Charge" Financial Policy To a "Tuition-Based" Policy!
After much prayer and thoughtful deliberation the Apostles Advisory Council, Senior Leadership Team, and Core Faculty of ATS has announced that it will no longer offer it's unique degree programs or outstanding courses in Apostolic and Prophetic Studies without charge.
At the direction of the Holy Spirit and in counsel with the General Apostolic Council of Apostolic Ministries and Churches International the decision has been made to charge an appropriate tuition for the quality courses and degrees being offered. It was the strong conviction of those involved in making this decision that the general perception that has been created by offering ATS's courses and degree programs without charge is that they are not of value. Therefore, deeply conscious of the uniqueness of ATS's apostolic mandate and the spiritual importance of it's curriculum and degree programs for an apostolic reformation of the Lord's Church the decision was reached to assign the value due for the courses.
This strategic decision to charge tuition for ATS courses and degrees will enable the faculty to live out of their teaching ministry; it will also enable ATS to attract the caliber of seasoned and proven department heads and faculty that are needed to complete the development and oversee the outstanding courses outlined in the ATS Course catalog.
In spite of the new tuition-based policy, ATS is still affordable.
Our tuition is reasonable, scholarships are available to deserving and needy students, and we offer interest-free financing.
For current students who previously enrolled under the "No Charge Policy," and who have been actively pursuing their studies in pursuit of a degree, ATS will continue to honor the "No Charge Policy."
But beginning immediately, the new financial policy will kick into place for all new students.
As a special incentive to encourage enrollment, all new students who enroll in an ATS degree program (Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral) before January 10, 2011will be given a 30% discount on all course tuition throughout their entire degree program.
As a further incentive, all new students paying the full price for an ATS degree program (whether Bachelor, Master or Doctoral) up front or at the beginning of their degree studies will be given a 50% discount on the tuition costs of the degree.
Students may split their tuition payments for a course or degree program into thirds (1/3 at the beginning; 1/3 30 days later; final 1/3 60 days later). There will be a $25 convenience and record-keeping charge added to the cost of tuition for a course or a degree program.
ATS will carry the tuition costs of a degree program without charging interest as long as a student makes a minimum monthly payment of $100.00 until the degree has been paid in full. The first installment will be $200.00 paid at the time of enrollment ($100.00 to set up student payment records and $100.00 for the first month's installment).
