Apostle Rod Seago- "Victory in the Meadow of the Dance"
The title of this message for Sunday is: "Victory In The Meadow Of The Dance!”
Brother Rod writes: According to Judges chapter 6 and 7, Israel was in bondage to Midian for seven years. Eventually God raised up Gideon. With an army reduced from 32,000 to just 300 men, Gideon and his little band of 300 pursued the fleeing Midianites all the way to a place called Abel-Meholah, which in Hebrew means, “meadow of the dance,” where they slew 120,000 Midianites, and ended their servitude to Midian. So what is the significance of this to us? In this meadow where dancing and rejoicing took place, the children of Israel delivered as it were, the final “coup de grace” to the enemy. Praising God in the dance or dancing with joy before the Lord is one of the ways that God has ordained for us to come before Him. Very often the final manifestation of victory over our spiritual enemy comes as we, in an act of faith, dance and rejoice before the Lord, before it manifests. In this message we will see that praising the Lord in the dance has a militaristic character, and is a valid scriptural expression of joy and victory.
"Do you have a stubborn enemy that you have not been able to overcome? Maybe you will have to, figuratively speaking, pursue him down to the “meadow of dancing” and slay him."
Apostle Rod’s message dealing with how to obtain victory in spiritual warfare is exactly the message we need to hear as individual believers and as a church body as we enter a new season together in the Lord. I encourage you in the Name of the Lord to get on your phone or take advantage of this post on our page and invite family, friends, neighbors and your contacts at work to join you at the King’s Church for worship, prayer, the ministry of God’s Word and fellowship.
